The registration has been closed.

The Minister for Environment, Agriculture, Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia,

Ursula Heinen-Esser,
and the President of the German Dairy Association (MIV),

Peter Stahl,
cordially invite you to the traditional Milk Summit

on the subject:

The new EU Rules on Unfair Trading Practices – will they help the Dairy Sector?

End of 2018, the European institutions reached political agreement on a directive banning unfair trading practices in the food supply chain, thereby strengthening the negotiating position of farmers and small and medium-range agri-food companies when dealing with larger operators.

Which changes will result from the new directive for German dairy companies, milk producers and retailers? Will the future rules help to stabilise the incomes of milk producers? Is German competition law adequate or will it have to be adjusted? How is the new directive linked to the future Common Agricultural Policy?
